Silver-spotted skipper on Monkey flower

Silver-spotted skipper on Monkey flower
While shooting dragonflies at the wetland, a chubby Silver-spotted skipper suddenly appeared to feed on this wildflower – so I had to get the shot fast. Anyone know the wildflower ID? The plants are usually a couple of feet tall with several lavender blossoms on long stems.

I pulled out two GA wildflower refs and this flower resembled Sharp-winged Monkey Flower and some of the skullcaps. A knowledgeable person on the SE Wildflowers forum ID’d it as Monkey Flower (Mimulus ringens). There are even Mimulus species that are yellow.
